Unknown bulbs

These grew from a bag of gifted mystery bulbs. Bulbs were small off white to yellow. Looked like immature gladioli bulbs. The person thought they could be gladioli. Does anyone know what in fact they are?
They are only just opening, white with pink/purple inside. Will post a photo of another angle aswell.
Im a complete novice when it comes to bulbs

This looks like Gladiolus carneus. They multiply pretty rapidly and are fairly tough. Deirdre

Thanks Deirdre. Yes I think thats what they are. Glad to hear they are hardy as they were really lovely. I look forward to them coming up again next year, hopefully in a larger clump.
